The sonic nozzle calibration system is a critical flow based, in which the gas flows to the exact location in the nozzle throat at sonic velocity under a decided manner. As the gas flow rate can be related to this stable and highly repeatable reference flow, it is now recognized as an international standard for gas flow calibration.

Using high precision machined sonic nozzles, the instrument provides accurate and repeatable gas flow numbers for a wide range of flows.
